Old Denton Post Office

Albert St, Market Place, Denton
The Old Post Office stands on the corner of Albert St and Market St and its original name was, 'Post, Money Order & Telegraph Office and Savings Bank'. It ceased to be a post office when the facility was first moved to the Co-operative Supermarket on Manchester Rd in the early 1990s and then to the corner of Manchester Rd and Peel St.

Slater's Trade Directory for 1903 lists the Post Master as Thomas Irwin.
